Being able to help people more fully participate in all the activities of their day to day lives gives Clinton Barretto a sense of purpose and drive in all the work that he does.
With a background in business management, Clinton supports Human Space on accessibility project types ranging from small, single sites to large-portfolio clients. His main focus is on accessibility audits, providing best practice solutions and making recommendations to clients to maximize compliance. He also provides drawing reviews and assists with accessibility guideline development.
After joining Toronto design firm Quadrangle in 2016 in a contract position on their accessibility team, he felt impassioned to work in the field of accessibility on a full-time basis due to the inspiring work he found with them. Since then, Clinton has contributed to projects that have included audits for the City of Brampton, the Ministry of the Attorney General and the University of Toronto, as well as assisted in drafting the Toronto Accessibility Design Guidelines.
